5) JUSTICE PAIN w/Big Daddy Smooth vs. LOBO in a CZW style Cage Match. This is the most insane cage ever put together in wrestling. That includes anything from FMW, All Japan or anybody else you can think of! See why CZW is truely "ULTRAVIOLENT"

• Gangstas v. Anthony Michaels/Chris Hamrick (The Gangstas debut in SMW)
  - Int: Gangstas - The first in a long line of interviews.
• Gangstas v. Steve Skyfire & Scott Studd (The Gangstas then do an interview mentioning O.J Simpson & Reginald Denny. The TV station is now bleeping out parts of their promos.)
  - Interview with Jim Ross at Night of Legends 8/5/94: The Gangstas make their challenge to the Rock & Roll Express. They also make their feelings known about the local chapter of the NAACP who complained about the Gangstas' gimmick.
• Gangstas v. Brian Logan/Steve Skyfire
• Gangstas v. Chris Hamrick/Dan Dubiel
• Gangstas v. The Rock & Roll Express
• Gangstas v. Anthony Michaels/Doug Dalton
• Gangstas v. Rock & Roll Express in a WILD brawl from Johnson City. The whole locker room empties, as the two teams brawl all over the building, and into the parking lot. New Jack gets thrown onto his own car, setting off the alarm!
• Gangstas v. Rock & Roll Express (The Gangstas win the SMW tag titles by using New Jack's night stick, but Bob Armstrong comes out and tells the ref who restarts the match, leading to the RRs getting the pin. BUT THE STORY'S NOT OVER AS YOU'LL SEE...
  - The following week, Bob Armstrong announces that the Gangstas had hired a civil rights lawyer and threatened a multi-million dollar lawsuit, forcing SMW to return the Tag Titles to them. Fantastic angle, as the Gangstas cheat to win, and then accuse SMW of discriminating against them because they're black.
  - VIDEO - The Gangstas return to the "Hood" with their newly won Tag Titles. New Jack & Mustafa spend time partying with their boys and talking about the RR express. As intimidating as their neighborhood looks on video, imagine how Jim Cornette felt. He was the one behind the camera filming it. Cornette had to go to Atlanta, and since New Jack was from Atlanta, they decided to film the footage in Jack's neighboorhood.
• Battle Royal - Robert Gibson & New Jack are the last remaining wrestlers. They brawl to a double DQ. Mustafa runs In and joins the fight. Once again, the whole locker room empties to break it up. Gibson tries to get some revenge by attacking the Gangstas during their interview, and the locker room empties again.
• Gangstas v. Brian Logan/Steve Casey
  - Security Camera Footage of the Gangstas in a bar, boasing about everything they've done to the Rock & Rolls. The RRs burst into the bar, and brawl with the Gangstas with everything that's not nailed down. The Gangstas bring this tape to the police and have the RRs ARRESTED! This was even funnier, because the bartender was not let in on the angle in advance. He had no idea that this was going to happen. HE WENT NUTS!
• New Jack v. Ricky Morton (After about 45 seconds Gibson & Mustafa run in and brawl. New Jack juices heavily as the Locker room empties once again to break it up.)
  - JIM CORNETTE OFFERS THE GANGSTAS "THE OPPORTUNITY OF A LIFETIME!" Cornette offers the Gangstas his services as their manager. The Gangstas let him know in NO UNCERTAIN TERMS that they don't need, nor want a "REDNECK" like him as their manager. Cornette is HUMILIATED!
• Gangstas v. Brian Lee/Lance Storm (lots of interference by D-Lo Brown. Yes THAT D-Lo Brown)
  - JIM CORNETTE PLOTS TO GET EVEN WITH THE GANGSTAS by offering to manage his LIFELONG enemies, the Rock & Roll Express, who to everyone's surprise, accept Jim's offer to manage them during the "Christmas Chaos" tour.
• D-Lo Brown v. Steve Armstrong (The Gangstas run in, but Scott Armstrong runs them off with a lead pipe.)
• Gangstas v. Scott & Steve Armstrong
  - Jim Ross interviews the Rock & Roll Express. He lists all of the rotten things (and it's a pretty big list) that Cornette's done to them over the past 10 years. Cornette runs out to shut Ross up, and the RRs are now more suspicious then ever.
• D-Lo Brown v. Brian Lee
• Rock & Roll Express v. The Infernos (The RRs are managed by Jim Cornette! The Gangstas run in, and Cornette runs away - but returns to the ring with three tennis raquets, which he and the RRs use to pound the Gangstas with.)
• Gangstas v. Rock & Roll Express w/ Jim Cornette (Joined in progress from Knoxville. Cornette's requet comes into play, and the RRs win the Tag Titles. During the post match brawl, Cornette has the Gangstas hold Morton, and loads up the raquet, but instead of hitting Morton, CORNETTE BLASTS BOTH GANGSTAS WITH THE RAQUET GETTING A HUGE POP FROM THE CROWD! The Gangstas recover and DESTROY Cornette, beating on his leg with the nightstick.

  There are several additional interviews that followed this match.

  - Cornette petitions Bob Armstrong to re-instate the Heavenly Bodies in order to gain revenge on the Gangstas
  - Int: Heavenly Bodies and Jim Cornette - Cornette gives some pretty hard comments and accuses the Gangstas of profiting on the Black v. White issue.
  - The Gangstas accuse Commisioner Bob Armstrong of being a racist, and Bob responds by calling New Jack an asshole!

• New Jack v. Steve Armstrong (The match never starts, as Cornette comes out with an injunction barring the other Gangstas from ringside. The Gangstas flip, and then triple team Steve, injuring his knee with the night stick. Bob Armstrong makes the save.)
  - Tracey Smothers & Scott Armstrong reform the "Southern Boys" tag team and plan to go after the Gangstas.
• Smokey Mountain Rumble - Joined in progress from Morristown, TN. Tracy Smothers eliminates the Gangstas to win the battle royal, but the Gangstas jump him after the match. D-Lo and Scott Armstrong join in to help out their partners.
• Gangstas v. The Heavenly Bodies (GREAT BRAWL! Cornette and the HBs get revenge on the Gangstas, giving them a bloody beating. They fight all over the arena, in the back, in the parking lot, and EVEN OUT IN THE STREET!
  - SMW commisioner Bob Armstrong starts levying fines on the heels for just about every angle that's taken place in the last couple of months. The Gangstas come out to complain about being discriminated against, and levy their own 3 on 1 attack on Armstrong. Bob, then OKs a special referee for the upcoming Gangstas v. Bodies match. HIMSELF!
  - The Gangstas attack Bob Armstrong and Jim Cornette. Cornette & Armstrong are actually fighting SIDE BY SIDE!
• Southern Boys v. Two Jobbers (The Gangstas run in and destroy the Southern Boys. Bob Armstrong runs in and gets buried under the Gangstas' Malcom X flag)
• The Gangstas/D-Lo Brown v. The Heavenly Bodies/Jim Cornette (Clips)
• Gangstas v. the T.H.U.G.S. (Dirty White Boy & Tracy Smothers) (Smothers and Anthony win, but D-Lo & Killer Kyle jump them after the match)
  - PG-13 VIDEO (JC Ice & Wolfie D are coming in from the USWA to feud with the Thugs & Gangstas)
  - HIGHLIGHTS of the Terry Funk v. Bob Armstrong feud, leading up to the Two teaming v. the Gangstas. If Funk & Armstrong don't win, Cornette promises to refund every fan's ticket money.
• Gangstas v. DWB/Smothers (Chain match - Tracy gets hung from the top rope)
• DWB & Smothers v. PG-13 (joined in progress. DWB & Tracy win the USWA tag titles, but USWA official Randy Hales Lies to ref Mark Curtis about the finish, and reverses the dicision. A three way brawl breaks out between the Gangstas, PG-13 & the THUGS)
  - THE BIG DOUBLE CROSS takes place after Funk & Armstrong defeat the Gangstas. Cornette thanks Bob for his help by throwing a FIREBALL IN HIS FACE! Funk, Cornette, and several other wrestlers then destroy Armstrong, cementing Cornette's return to heel-dom.
  - Interview with Cornette who reviews his past feud with Bob Armstrong and explains his six month babyface turn as a plot to get even with Armstrong.
• Killer Kyle/D-Lo Brown v. The T.H.U.G.S. (The Gangstas were finished in SMW at this point, and had gone to ECW. They actually Left SMW earlier than scheduled, no-showing about 4 dates where they were supposed to put the THUGS over. D-Lo and Killer Kyle are not referred to as Gangstas now, and The name "Gangstas" was not even mentioned.)
  - Footage from Jim Cornette's 1995 shoot interview, where Cornette talks about the Gangstas' stint in SMW. Cornette discusses his opinions about New Jack & Mustafa, whether or not he's a racist and his opinions about black people in general. Cornette also discusses the events leading up to The Gangstas leaving SMW ahead of schedule.
  - Footage from New Jack's 1996 shoot interview filmed after Smoky Mountain folded. Jack also discusses his stay in SMW. He talks about the other workers, who he got along with, who he didn't and how they got along backstage (The answers may surprise you). He also discusses all of the accusations and comments made by Cornette, including why he left SMW early. New Jack even gives his personal opinion of Cornette himself. He gives his comparison between Cornette and Paul Heyman, He discusses whether he thinks Cornette is a racist, and whether or not he dislikes Cornette.     funny match, as Heenan and Arn argue with each other for most of the match, and "The Brain" does everything he can to keep from
    actually wrestling. Heenan winds up getting Arn pinned, and as Arn walks off for the last time, Heenan realizes that he's the only man left
    in the ring…….
    against the ULTIMATE WARRIOR
    ! The Warrior actually slips out of character and is actually SMILING as he watches

    In 1987, Hulk Hogan and Randy "Macho Man" Savage united and set the WWF on its ear. The meeting of "The Madness" and "The Mania" became the cornerstone of the WWF from their union, through their break-up and eventual title match at Wrestlemania 5. Here's a look at what was in my opinion, one of the last good angles of the Hulk Hogan era. 1. Honky Tonk Man - vs - Randy " Macho Man " Savage (The MEGA POWERS are born as Savage is triple teamed by HTM and the Hart Foundation. Elizabeth runs to the back and brings out HULK HOGAN who makes the
    save. Savage & Hogan shake hands and the rest is history.- Saturday Night's Main Event 10/3/87)
    2. Randy Savage v. Barry Horowitz 3. INT - Ted DiBiase & Andre the Giant (re: Andre's upcoming title shot against Hulk Hogan, and how Andre will win the title for DiBiase) 4. INT - Hulk Hogan (re: same topic as #3) 5. Hulk Hogan - vs - Andre the Giant with Ted Dibiasi & Virgil (The Main Event 2/5/88 - The infamous identical twin referee angle as Hogan loses the title to Andre despite lifting his shoulders at the 2 count. Andre then immediately relenquishes the title to DiBiase.

    6. Jack Tunney strips Ted DiBiase of the WWF Title.  It turns out that although the title can change hands on a 
        pinfall or submission, you can't just give it away.  As a result, not only is DiBiase no longer the champion, but
        since Andre willfully gave up the title, he has no claim on it either.  The belt will go up for grabs in a 16 man
        tournament at Wrestlemania 4.
    7. Randy Savage v. Ted DiBiase. (GREAT MATCH! These two would go on to have numerous matches against
        Each other over the course of the next several months.  Each one was great to watch. SNME 3/12/88)
    8. Hulk Hogan v. Andre the Giant (Round 2 of the World Title tournament.  - Wrestlemania 4)
    9. Randy Savage v. Ted DiBiase (FINALS.  Savage, with an assist from Hulk Hogan, wins the WWF Title!)
    
    
    
    Interesting story here.
      Ted DiBiase was originally scheduled to win the WWF Title here, while Savage was 
    
    supposed to have won the Intercontinental Title at the previous 3/12/88 Main Event special. However, HTM 
    
    refused to do the job and threatened to jump ship to the NWA with the IC title in hand.  As a result, Vince 
    
    McMahon changed the script to allow HTM to keep the title, but when Savage heard about this, he promised
    
    to SHOOT on HTM during the show which was to be broadcast LIVE!  In order to avert a surefire disaster, 
    
    McMahon promised Savage the World Title at Wrestlemania 4, which was supposed to be won by DiBiase.

    and Haku while Hogan is handcuffed to the railing.  Elizabeth actually makes herself useful, and frees Hogan who
    steals Savage's thunder and wins the match by pinning Haku.  During the celebration, Hogan is sucking up the 
    spotlight by standing between Savage and Elizabeth.  You can see that Savage isn't too happy about this, but 
    he assures Jesse Ventura in a post match interview, that there's no problem.   But that's not entirely true as 
    you'll see in….)
    24. Hulk Hogan [with Elizabeth] v. Akeem [with Slick & The Big Bossman] (The break-up of the Mega Powers looms 
    near, as Hogan is double teamed for much of this match, but Savage, who is watching the match from the back
    repeatedly refuses to help his partner.  Savage maintains that Hogan is not in trouble, and will be able to take 
    
    care of himself, and only finally aids Hogan when Elizabeth was in danger.   Savage later maintains the integrity
    
    of the Megapowers, but you just know that there is some serious dissension on Savage's side of the team.

    25. The Mega Powers v. The Twin Towers (The dissention finally reaches the boiling point, as

    injured Elizabeth to the back for medical attention.  The insanely jealous Savage then slaps the returning 
    
    Hulkster and leaves him in the ring.  Hogan wins the match for his team, but is later attacked by the Macho 
    
    Man, who has totally completed his heel turn here.  The Main Event 2/3/89)

    , as Brutus Beefcake is the one who comes to Hogan's aid after Savage 
    
    destroys Hogan in the medical area.  The announcers don't pay any attention to this, but it becomes more 
    
    significant later in the year, as Brutus would the summer teaming with Hogan against Savage and Tiny "Zeus"

    Of the many teams that ripped off the Road Warriors gimmick (and there were quite a few), Demolition was by far the most 
    Successful.  Even though it was clear that their gimmick of face paint, leather, a power based offense, while never selling any of
    Their opponent's moves was blatantly ripped from the Legion of Doom, Demolition consisting of Axe, Smash and later, Crush still
    managed to develop a personality and an aura that made them a unique and formidable team.

    Smash would soon be totally repackaged as the rediculous Repoman while Crush would keep his name and go through a gimmic 
    change to become a babyface.  He would also for an extremely short period replace Hawk as one half of the Legion of Doom 
    becoming the only wrestler to have wrestled as part of the Road Warriors AND Demolition.  And considering that both teams 
    pretty much folded after Crush joined them, I'd be wary of ever letting Bryan Adams become the third wheel on any future tag teams.
